PCI DSS v4.0.1
- The newer requirements became mandatory March 31, 2025.
- They include weekly tamper detection on online payment pages (requirements 6.4.3 and 11.6.1 for SAQ A, SAQ A-EP and SAQ D merchants).
- SAQ A merchants now need vulnerability scans.
OCI Retail Modernization Project Grant
- Up to $5,000 non-repayable for point-of-sale, RFID, inventory and CRM hardware and software.
- For Ontario storefront retailers open to the public, with 1 to 50 full-time staff, incorporated and operating 1+ year, $100,000+ revenue, not home-based.
- First come, first served; can't be combined with DMAP.
